Overview
Purple Vertex Digital ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Road Trip Mania mobile application (the "App"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use our App.
Information We Collect
Before you sign in, you may browse parts of the App, but an account is required to create or play a trip. App preferences may be cached on your device.\n\nWhen you create an account, we process:\n• Your email address and Firebase account identifier. Firebase Authentication handles your credentials; Purple Vertex Digital does not receive a readable password.\n• Trip names, locations you choose to enter, plate progress, game statistics, and multiplayer session data.\n• Postcard designs, photos you choose, recipient names and mailing addresses when you order a physical postcard, order status, and payment transaction identifiers.\n• Advertising consent choices, rewarded-ad interactions, device or advertising identifiers processed by Google Mobile Ads, and verified Ad-Free purchase entitlements.\n• Diagnostics and performance information processed by the production Firebase and Google SDKs to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the App.
How We Use Your Information
We use this information to provide and maintain the App; create and manage accounts; secure access; synchronize trip data; support Solo, Head-to-Head, and Co-Op games; calculate trip statistics; convert city and state names you enter into geographic coordinates; create digital postcards; verify addresses; process and fulfill optional printed postcards; process refunds; prevent duplicate or fraudulent fulfillment; verify App Store and Google Play purchases; honor advertising-consent choices; deliver optional rewarded ads; and diagnose reliability or security issues.
Data Storage and Third-Party Services
We use Google Firebase for authentication, cloud data, file storage, and backend functions; Google Mobile Ads for consent management and rewarded advertising; Apple App Store and Google Play for the optional Ad-Free in-app purchase; Stripe for optional physical-postcard payments; and PostGrid for address verification, printing, mailing, and fulfillment updates. These providers process information under their own privacy terms.\n\nThe App uses a geocoding service to convert city and state names you enter into latitude and longitude. The App does not request device-location permission.\n\nPurple Vertex Digital does not sell personal information.
Retention, Your Choices, and Account Deletion
You can review required privacy choices in the App and change advertising-consent choices where the applicable consent system makes that option available. You can delete your account through Profile in the App or begin a request from the Purple Vertex Digital Delete Account page.\n\nAccount deletion permanently removes your Firebase Authentication account, trips, gameplay data, and account profile, and clears eligible legacy local trip data. This action cannot be undone. Uninstalling the App by itself does not delete your account.\n\nTo complete an order, handle a dispute or refund, prevent duplicate transactions, and meet legal or accounting obligations, limited postcard and purchase records may be retained after account deletion. These records are no longer available through the deleted account. Postcard PDFs and recipient-address data are automatically purged after the displayed retention period, normally 14 days after completion, failure, or refund. Purchase records are pseudonymized when the account is deleted.
Children’s Privacy
Our App is not directed at anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
